48 North Pizzeria: Exceptional Vegan and Gluten-Free Pizza Experience

I have enjoyed coming to your place all winter, listening to the live music, great drinks and food. Couple things to work on.... I came in Friday February 20th and you had one gal trying to run the entire place. She held it together amazingly but you need to staff up appropriately. Second your pizza is real close to being real good. But the crust stays to limp as you get to center of pizza. Get an even cooked crust!

I came in with an old co-worker for lunch on a Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving so I may have received above average service. My co-worker also recommended it as she eats vegetarian and had been there a few times already. There's 2 businesses inside the building. The pizza joint on one side and the bar/taps/2-beverage cooler business on the other. We ordered the jalapeno poppers, fried mushroom and vegan wings. All were delicious and order was taken and delivered by the owner. He mentioned they have music in here on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar has as dozen or so taps of varied beer, cider, etc. The owner was there on this side too and offered me tasters of anything I wanted. Plenty of seating during lunch mid week. I'm going to come back with my wife and son and give the pizza a try as well. Very much enjoyed it. Felt like it was 2 owners trying to make it work. We'll see how it goes. Edit: Came back a couple weeks later for the pizza, jalapeno poppers, beer, and live music for a date night with my wife. Had a great time.

To find a place that can provide gluten free for me and dairy free for my husband, a gem! The food was really good. We had a nice lunch experience here. The spinach apple cranberry salad was big and we shared it. Each of us got a pizza for our needs. Both pizzas were excellent. The gluten free crust was really good! And had a little fun at the pinball machines. The alcohol corner looks nice with lots of choices. We just didn't feel like having any alcohol with lunch. On a nice day, the outdoor back seating could be really nice. Had to share the funny bathroom signs, yes, please wash your hands!

Delicious chicken pesto sandwich, quality crusty bread, plenty of pesto. Excellent taplist of craft beers available plus cans beers as well, also available to go. Friendly service. Pizzas looked tasty. Off street parking can be an issue.

The pizza and garlic knots were absolutely delicious—soft, flavorful, and I would definitely recommend! The marinara sauce had great flavor, though it was served cold, which was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the pesto was a major letdown; we usually love pesto, but this one was bitter, soggy, and lacked flavor. The service was also on the slower side. Despite that, we still had a good overall experience.

I just had a large birthday get together here today for lunch with about 25 people! I can’t say enough how great this place is. I gave them a heads up that we were coming and they were so easy to work with. Every staff member was super nice and not at all annoyed with us doing birthday things. They have an amazing selection of vegan and vegetarian options. The vegan wings are top notch. There are so many more pizza flavors I want to try. We will definitely be coming back more. Got there for an early lunch. Staff were in the middle of prepping a *huge* delivery order for a corporate lunch. It was their 4th such order that morning, the hostess later told me. Staff were still very attentive thru that process, letting me know they'd be with me in just a bit. Got the garlic knots, meatball grinder & a pizza. The food is amazing. Been there a few times & haven't had a bad dish yet. Good beer selection. A few more wines would be nice (only had 1 red, though it is good).

Stopped here with my family while visiting. As far as vegan pizza goes this was pretty dang good. Great pizzeria with a neat atmosphere.
